SCOPE OF WORK

1. Setting up the surveying bases around the kiln which will be usable also for future alignment.

2. Measurement of deformations of kiln axis in vertical and horizontal plane with accuracy 1,0 mm.

3. Measurement of rollers’ axes skewing , and rollers’ inclination

4. Measurement of under-tyre clearance.

5. Measurement of rollers working angles.

6. Measurement of deformations of the kiln shell (axial and radial deviation).

7. Measurement of drive gear wobbling

8. Measurement of tire wobbling

9. Measurement of mechanical wear of rollers

10. Drive mesh inspection

11. Calculations of deformations of kiln axis , rollers axis, working angles and kiln slope.

12. Calculations of corrections of rollers shifting and the choice of optimal version of adjustment ( balance of the axial thrust of the kiln)

13. Participation of measurement team in adjustment procedure carried out by mechanicians of the Cement Plant.

14. Check survey after adjustment.

15. Kiln mechanical inspection

16. Preparation and presentation of the completed report on measurement and adjustment.









EXECUTION:

1. The above listed work will be done by the team of 2 specialists within 10 days per one kiln

2. The Client shall determine the best time for execution of measurement and adjustment work considering that the kiln will be normally operating.

3. The Client will delegate one technician for assistance and help to surveying team for about 2 days per kiln.

4. The Client will nominate one competent technician having a good knowledge of organizing and executing the adjustment according to instructions and in presence of surveying team.

5. The Client makes sure that the necessary equipment for use, e.g.: hydraulic pump, hand hammer, steel rope are available.

6. The adjustment work shell be done within 3 days per one kiln.

7. If the Client wishes that the adjustment should be done partially or postponed for a some time or partitioned by stages, in this case the Client will carry out or complete the adjustment on his own according to instructions given by measurement team.

8. In case of large dimension rollers the Client will construct measuring platform basis on Geoservex documentation and under supervision of measuring team.
